Tenure Track Position

The University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure-track position in Human Nutrition at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.

Applicants should have a PhD in human nutrition or related field, supplemented with postdoctoral or similar experience. Candidates should demonstrate potential for outstanding research in food, nutrition or dietetics. The successful applicant must also demonstrate strong potential for excellence in teaching in the dietetic program as well as at the graduate level. The successful applicant is expected to establish synergistic research relationships with College and university faculty.  Membership (or possession of credentials for membership) as a Registered Dietitian (RD) in Saskatchewan is an asset.

The University of Saskatchewan ( has the widest array of health science programs in Canada. The scope of these programs and strong affiliations with hospitals and health care facilities across the province contribute to an excellent environment for interprofessional teaching, clinical practice and research.  Our new Academic Health Science Building, home to several health training programs, will greatly support those applicants interested in creating interprofessional and collaborative models of nutrition and dietetics education and practice.

The successful candidate will be appointed to a tenure-track position. A salary range for this position is $$93,293 to $130,925. This position comes with a comprehensive benefits package which includes pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), academic long-term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefit, dental plan, extended health and vision care plan, employee assistance program and flexible health and wellness spending program.
