Manager - Finance and Administration

Status: Permanent

Salary Information: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Primary Purpose: Prairie Swine Centre is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide financial and administrative leadership to our company.

Nature of Work: Reporting to the President, the Manager – Finance and Administration will be responsible all financial and management information systems including supervision of front office staff and related services which include administrative support to the Board of Directors.

Accountabilities: This position contributes to the long range planning activities and the development of cost control and internal control procedures, maintaining an efficient and professional office environment and actively participating in the decision making process of the Executive Management Team.

Qualifications:
Education:  The successful candidate will possess a professional accounting designation

Experience:  Two to five years of related experience, preferably in a management role.

Skills:  This position requires a working knowledge of computer software (eg. AccPac, MS Word, MS Excel) as well as demonstrated supervisory abilities.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as are well-developed organizational skills.
